Sweet Tea’s Southern Comfort Food (or Comforting Southern Food!…)

Posted by on Jan 10, 2013 in Events, Restaurants | 0 comments

We had an incredible shoot today at Sweet Tea’s Southern Comfort Food.  They recently completely renovated the entire place and it looks fantastic.  They were also recently featured on the Food Network and their episode will be airing on March 20 so check it out.  I can personally vouch for how great the food is but you will have to stop in for a visit to truly know what it is all about.

The Shrimp and grits were amazing.  I had them after the shoot and highly recommend them!

Drop in sometime!

Wedding Day: Ashley & Scott

Posted by on Jan 10, 2013 in Featured, Weddings | 0 comments

A few days after Christmas, on a wintery evening, Ashley & Scott were married at Myers Park Country Club.  It was a gorgeous ceremony with all the lovely Christmas decorations.  All their family and friends were such a huge support for them as they vowed to love and cherish one another forever.  After the ceremony they celebrated big!  It was such a fun reception with so much energy.  Everything from the location, food, florists, and DJ were absolutely perfect.

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Dail!  Thank you for allowing us to help make your wedding day even more memorable.  We wish you both much happiness and lots of exciting adventures!

Phillips Family Shoot

Posted by on Jan 10, 2013 in Families, Portraits | 0 comments

We had a great time capturing photographs of Mike Phillips and his family.  We discussed locations and they were really into the look of waterfalls so we worked a few waterfalls into most of the photos.  They are a really fun family and we are really happy with how the photos came out.  Enjoy!

Here Mike is directing them how to pose for a ‘kids shot’!  I think this photo more than any other shows their personalities and family dynamics!

I like this family shot a lot as well.

I loved getting the reflection shot here.  It really reminded me of the shots that we would capture on the beach when the water would make the sand nice and glassy and give us a great reflection.
