Family Portraits | Smith | Fort Mill, SC
One of my favorite things about Spring is that the peach orchards begin to bloom their gorgeous pink flowers! It’s amazing every year….but it goes fast! We were thrilled that the Smith family was available for family portraits when everything was in full bloom. It was such a fun session and we were on our toes the whole time while following their 2 adorable kids. TJ had the fun idea of bringing some bubbles along as well. We made sure not to take them out until later in the shoot, because, well, we knew they’d be a hit and we needed to make sure that we got their family shots first. lol. Family Portraits | Niemann | Charlotte, NC
Our year just wouldn’t be complete without getting the opportunity to photography the Niemann Family. We’ve been working with them for over 6 years, and it’s been wonderful! As usual, their girls were absolutely adorable and so entertaining. We love the Niemann’s!
Bridal Portraits | McGill Rose Garden | Charlotte, NC
You may remember the wonderful engagement session for Laura & David from last Summer. (What a great couple!) We were so excited when Laura told us she wanted to schedule a Bridal Portrait session. She is so stunning and the camera loves her – whats not to be excited about! ha!
The session was scheduled at McGill Rose Garden in NODA. What a beautiful and unique location! Laura’s mom and sister came along and were such a help in helping with her dress and keeping her refreshed. It really couldn’t have gone better!
It’s been quite a few months since this photo shoot, and we’ve been itching to share some of these gorgeous images. We hope you enjoy them! Stay tuned for the wedding blog soon too!!
Engagement Session | Megan & Pablo | Charlotte, NC
We met Megan & Pablo early last year and instantly hit it off. Turns out I knew Megan’s mom from a previous job I had years ago, and Megan works with my brother! Small world! I love when crazy connections like that happen. 
Their engagement session was scheduled on one of our warmer Fall afternoons and turned out beautifully. You know it’s a great shoot when you end up laughing half the time and an hour turns into almost 2 hours. Getting 2 couples together will almost always result in tons of fun conversation!
In just a few short weeks, Megan & Pablo will say “I do”. We are so excited for them!

Engagement Session | Laura & David | Fort Mill, SC
It’s so wonderful when the journey of life brings you back in touch with people from years ago. When Laura reached out to us about photographing her wedding, I knew her name was so familiar. Sure enough, we grew up going to the same church! It was so wonderful to see her again, and with a fiancé now!
Their engagement portraits took place on a gorgeous Sunday morning. Even though it was middle of Summer, it was the perfect temperature. Laura and David were naturals in front of the camera too. There was very little direction needed to be given. They just truly loved being with each other and let us capture their sweet moments.
We cannot wait to celebrate with you, Laura & David, and document your big day!!
Portraits | Karen’s Garden | Matthews, NC
For an upcoming gardening project, my mom needed some photographs of her garden, as well as some portraits. Of course, TJ and I were happy to do this for her!
My mom has gardened for years, and I’ve seen her garden grow from a tiny vegetable garden, to something even greater. She has a wonderful green thumb and always has something beautiful blooming in her yard. I’m excited about this project and look forward to seeing her dive into many more exciting adventures this year! <3
Family Portraits | Biller | Charlotte, NC
This Summer we photographed the Biller Family. We met them through a mutual friend a couple years ago, and since then Aaron & TJ play in a band together in Charlotte. We were thrilled when they asked us to take their family portraits! Their daughter had just turned one, so it was the perfect time to document this moment in their lives. It was such a great morning and we definitely captured some beautiful moments.
Portraits of Thomas Jackson | Fort Mill, SC
Once upon a time a wife asked her husband if he would mind being photographed among the beautifully blossoming peach trees. Luckily her husband said yes and she giddily packed her photography gear in the car and away they went.
For those of you who know TJ well, you know that he went to modeling camp as a kid. While other children went away to summer camp, TJ was forced to learn how to be ridiculously good looking and to walk a runway. You should hear the stories he’s told me over the years. Instead of nature walks, they had cat walks. Instead of Arts & Crafts, it was hair and makeup. It was a tough life. So this photo shoot gave him the opportunity to dust off those skills he learned as a kid and let me photograph his good looking self.
Gosh, I have so much fun with this man. Thankful for the love of my life being my business partner in crime as well. Oh the places we will go.
Portraits| Brandi & Andrew | Charlotte, NC
These adorable newlyweds have been married for 6 months and wanted a fun spring photo shoot. We were so lucky to have photographed them on a gorgeous evening in Charlotte after all the yucky cold Spring days we were having.
Brandi & Andrew were so much fun. Their laughter, snuggles, & cute looks exchanged gave us so much to photograph. It’s such a treat to photograph people in love!
