Family Session: Gallimore
It was a beautiful, golden, Autumn evening for the Gallimore Family Portraits. It is one of the prettiest times of the year and I am so thrilled that we were able to capture amazing images for this wonderful family last week. They threw the football, ran, jumped, and cozied up together. It was a blast!
Enjoy!
I loved how the shoot ended….focused on Mom & Dad while the boys are playing in the background!
Family Session: Griffin
It was so wonderful to photograph the Griffin Family. We have worked with them many times in the past and have always had such a great time.
The evening was going awesome and we are capturing great images. Just when we were about to wrap up the session, we noticed this AMAZING double rainbow in the sky. We all quickly ran as fast as we could to the nearby hay bails for one more shot. Well, this “one more shot” ended up being perfect. What a gift! We were all on cloud 9 after that.
Promises
Last night, during a family session, we were given a beautiful gift. It’s amazing how everything lined up just perfectly for us to capture this gorgeous image.
A Duke Mansion Bridal Session
The Duke Mansion is such a wonderful setting to photograph a gorgeous bride. We had an incredible time photographing Jill. She was glowing!
Engagement Session: Jill & Billy
Over Labor Day weekend we photographed Jill & Billy’s Engagement session. It was a gorgeous morning on Lake Wylie at McDowell Park. It seriously felt like the first days of Fall. We had so much fun with them and cannot wait for their beautiful Wedding Day.
Congratulations, Jill & Billy!
Family Session: Niemann
It is always such a pleasure to photograph the Niemann’s! We have been documenting their family for years and enjoy catching up with them each time. Typically we have always scheduled their sessions in the Fall, but this year we got the chance to photograph them on a gorgeous Summer morning. The light was beautiful and the breeze was wonderful.

Bridal Portraits: Cathy | Waxhaw, NC
After a wedding I am always so excited to finally be able to unveil the gorgeous bridals. One of my favorite parts of Cathy’s bridal session was that we got to incorporate an umbrella! They were seriously BEAUTIFUL! Cathy’s dress was all lace and simply stunning. Keith was definitely all smiles when he saw his bride walk down the aisle to him. (Ironically I am listening to “Pretty Woman” right now as I blog this too)
We photographed the session in downtown Waxhaw, NC. It was overcast and calling for rain, but we braved the “iffy” weather, got amazing shots, and ended the session just in time. Cathy brought along a clear, bucket umbrella for the shoot and it was perfect!
Stay tuned for Keith & Cathy’s amazing Wedding Day post. It’s another good one!
You can check out their engagement session here too.
Family Time in Jersey
Last week we traveled up to NJ to photograph an engagement session. We decided to make it a Fathers Day trip as well and visit TJ’s family. We usually make it up there in the Winter months, so this was a real treat to be up there with everything in bloom and warm! On Sunday we had a Fathers Day cookout with all of TJ’s family and our sister in-laws family. It was a wonderful time! We especially had a great time with our two nephews. It had been seven months since we saw them last, and boy had they grown up so much! I tend to forget to take photos whenever we go to NJ as I am enjoying myself so much. However, this time I managed to snap a few (or more) images of the boys and some group shots of the family.
We are looking forward to spending time with this crew again next week at the beach!
We are honored to become this little guy’s Godparents next month!
